Position Overview
The Market Research Analyst will lead data-driven market intelligence,
competitive analysis, and digital marketing research initiatives. This role
requires the application of advanced analytical methodologies, statistical
modeling, and digital marketing expertise to identify market trends, evaluate
competitive landscapes, measure campaign effectiveness, and generate
actionable insights that directly influence business development, service
offering expansion, and client acquisition strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Design and
execute comprehensive market research studies using quantitative and
qualitative methodologies (surveys, A/B testing, regression analysis,
conjoint analysis) to evaluate market opportunities in the IT consulting,
cloud services, and staffing industries.
Data Analytics & Statistical Modeling: Develop
predictive models and data visualizations using tools such as Python, R,
SQL, Tableau, and Google Analytics to identify patterns in customer
behavior, market trends, and competitive positioning. Apply statistical
techniques including multivariate analysis, time-series forecasting, and
cluster analysis.
Digital Marketing Analytics: Analyze digital marketing
campaign performance across SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing,
and content marketing channels. Utilize platforms such as Google Ads,
Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, HubSpot, and Meta Business Suite to measure
ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and lifetime
value (LTV).
Market Segmentation & Targeting: Conduct advanced
customer segmentation analysis using demographic, psychographic,
firmographic, and behavioral data to identify high-value target segments
for the company's AWS cloud consulting, IT staffing, and offshore
development services.
Industry & Technology Trend Research: Monitor and
analyze emerging trends in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), DevOps,
cybersecurity, IT staffing, and digital transformation to provide strategic
recommendations for new service offerings and market entry.
Competitive Intelligence Dashboards: Design and maintain
automated dashboards and reporting systems that track competitor
activities, market share dynamics, pricing strategies, and industry
benchmarks using BI tools and custom data pipelines.
Digital Marketing Strategy Support: Collaborate with the
business development team to develop data-driven digital marketing
strategies, including content marketing plans, lead generation campaigns,
and brand positioning frameworks informed by market research findings.
Survey Design & Primary Research: Design, distribute,
and analyze customer satisfaction surveys, Net Promoter Score (NPS)
assessments, and product-market fit studies using survey platforms and
statistical analysis software.
Reporting & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive market
research reports, white papers, and executive presentations with data-driven
recommendations. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable
business insights for leadership and stakeholders.
CRM & Marketing Automation Analysis: Leverage CRM
platforms and marketing automation tools to analyze lead funnel performance,
customer journey mapping, and engagement metrics to optimize marketing
spend allocation.
Minimum Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer
Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Data
Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related
computer field.
Minimum Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in market
research, data analytics, or digital marketing analysis.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools such as
Python, R, SQL, SPSS, or SAS.
Experience with data visualization platforms such as
Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Hands-on experience with digital marketing analytics tools including
Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and
HubSpot.
Knowledge of web analytics, SEO/SEM methodologies, and
conversion rate optimization techniques.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms
such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo.
Demonstrated ability to apply statistical methodologies (regression
analysis, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, cluster analysis) to market
research problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets including
advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present
complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Marketing Analytics
Google Analytics Certification or Google Ads Certification
AWS Cloud Practitioner or other cloud certifications
Experience in IT consulting, cloud services, or technology staffing industries
Familiarity with marketing attribution modeling and multi-touch analytics
Experience with API integrations for data collection and ETL pipelines
